Well, it sure has been a journey. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I decided to take the risk and leave a secure position as a physical therapist for a large, established company. Hindsight is 20/20 and I would have to say venturing into private practice was the right move. Steppin' Up Physical Therapy continues to grow and since our primary means of marketing is word of mouth, I think that speaks for itself. I have certainly been blessed with excellent staff who work hard and understand that it’s the people that matter. If we ever forget this truth, it’s time to close shop.

I’ve been working for Steppin’ Up Physical Therapy for about 1 ½ years now. It’s been a growing experience - a challenging and enjoyable one at that. I especially enjoy coming to work because of the kind, friendly, and caring environment here. The clients comment about this frequently which makes me glad to be associated with such a group. It's with great anticipation that I join the staff at Steppin’ Up Physical Therapy. After several years focusing on my massage therapy practice, Associated Therapies, it has been refreshing to meet a business owner (Jason Hazelett) who is of like mind and focus. I am excited about the opportunity to practice physical therapy on a consistent basis as well as offer the benefits of medical massage therapy under one roof. The most important thing to me is to use the knowledge I've received over the years and give it away to my patients in a way they can receive and easily practice in everyday life. The results of this type of therapy have been wonderfully rewarding and I am blessed by the long term relationships that have grown out of this setting.

I truly believe that God placed Steppin' Up Physical Therapy and Jason Hazelett into my life at the perfect opportunity. I, a stay at home mom of four very young children, did not expect to return to the world of physical therapy until my children were a bit more established in life. However, God knew how much I craved returning to my original passion in life, physical therapy. Steppin' Up Physical Therapy has provided me with an opportunity to return to patient care and still be the number one caretaker in my home. Steppin' Up is my retreat back into adult productiveness.
